The Institute for Risk and Reliability is once again pleased to present an award to one of its doctoral students! Masaru Kitahara won the award for his outstanding presentation entitled "Approximate Bayesian computation model updating of seismic isolated bridges for residual seismic performance estimation" at the 40th JSCE (Japanese Society of Civil Engineers) Earthquake Engineering Symposium.
