Professor Pengfei Wei from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xian, China, will join the Institute for Risk and Reliability for developing methods of global sensitivity analysis for engineering structures in a hybrid uncertainties environment with spatial and time-variant uncertain variables. This is part the context of the research project: "Bayesian inference and updating for reliability analysis of complex systems under incomplete knowledge"
